Reminder of the ride we may stop in Paynesville at Zaps leather, he is giving us a good deal on leather vests, if we get at least 20 he will sell us a $50 vest for @$30.00.

Quartermaster Reminder - Don't Forget Your Order

Patch order is in. Coins have arrived and I will pass those out on Sunday at the ride. We have 3 extra coins for sale so if you are interested let me know.

Don't forget we have an order form on the web site for easy ordering. All you have to do is go to the web page and click the items you would like me to order, send you check to me with a note about what the check is for.

Chapter T-shirts

Sally has the T-shirts just about done and possibly will have them for the ride on June 5th.

The MN III logo that's on the shirts is below. Sally Ohliger from Granite Falls makes this stuff and she is hooking us up!

From Our Secretary - Last Meetings Minutes

 
Meeting called to order at 2010 hours by President Kevin Marti.          
Secretary report:

• Minutes from the last meeting were read and approved.

 
Treasures report was read and approved:     

• The secretary/treasures positions will be split, with the treasures position being taken over by Don Ash as of 5/13/05, and the secretary position staying with Casey Stotts.

 
Quartermaster report:

• The patch order will be going in as soon as the check book can cover the cost.
• Shoulder patches were discussed.
• How/where patches will be sewn on will be determined when they arrive.
• Black leather vests are available for $30 (order of 25, or more) through a business in Paynesville.
• A screen printed clothing order will be taken (Sally Ohliger will up-front the cost and print the clothing).
• All members were urged to pay for their orders.

 
President's report:

• It was decided not to hold an annual benefit run this year. The idea will be revisited next year. All insurance for a benefit ride will be covered through the International.
• Because of the Memorial Day holiday – the next ride will be on the first Sunday in June (information to be e-mailed out).
• The group will be doing a monthly ride, starting in July, the second Sunday of the month.
• All members are encouraged to attend the parade on Saturday (2 pm) during the MSFDA conference. Members will be riding their bikes and wearing their fire helmets.
• There will be a Shiners toy ride in Willmar on June 12th.
• There will be a ride for Cancer on the morning of June 26th, leaving from Robbins Island in Willmar.
• MN 1 wants to do a G.R.A.N.D. tour with us, with rides being scheduled sometime in July.
• The by-laws were discussed. Warren will post them on the web site for all members to look at.
• June 3rd is the last day to get new members under the “Charter” membership status.
• An ad will be purchased for the International convention by the group promoting the Red Knights III.
  

 
With no more information to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 2118 hours.
